Can you pray while you drive?
Can you pray while you drive? I was asked this question as I was driving to Methodist Hospital with a family member of a driver who was injured in a scary crash at Lucas Oil Raceway last Saturday night. During that anxious moment, we did not know the condition of the driver. So as I drove, I prayed. Out loud.
1 Thessalonians 5:17 tells us to do just that; "pray continually". This does not have to be a verbal prayer, but an attitude of prayer; a constant dialogue with our heavenly Father. Lifting our thoughts and requests to Him and laying them at the feet of Jesus.
We thank God that this driver was released later that evening with no injuries. God wants to hear from you. Have you prayed today? Are you praying now. Do you pray continually?

I whole hearted believe that we can pray & drive!!! I do it all the time even tho I'm not a race car driver, I think there is no other way but to be in constant contact with our Savior. That is an attitude of prayer. he is ALWAYS with us!!
